Taboo was the perfect place to spend a beautiful new year’s featuring a live dj and fireworks to bring in 2024 in style.

No trip to Cabo is complete without a visit to the iconic Medano Beach. This stretch of golden sand offers the perfect blend of excitement and tranquility. Here’s what made my day at Medano Beach unforgettable.
Water Adventures: For the thrill-seekers, there’s an array of water activities, from jet skiing to parasailing. Also, Medano beach is one of the only swimmable beaches in Cabo, so make sure you check it out, we did, and it did not disappoint.
Chill Vibes: If relaxation is more your speed, grab a beach chair, soak in the sun, and let the gentle lull of the waves serenade you into a state of utter tranquility.
Lunch at Sur Beach House
After working up an appetite from all the beachside fun, I headed to Sur Beach House for a delectable lunch experience. This hidden gem is a culinary delight that perfectly combines exquisite flavors with a laid-back ambiance. We tried the Mediterranean spread with beet hummus, guacamole, and flavorful veggies and for the entrée we opted for lobster rolls, which were amazing.
Oceanfront Dining: The restaurant’s prime location offers panoramic views of the ocean, creating an idyllic setting for a leisurely lunch. It’s the kind of place where you savor each bite while the sea breeze caresses your face.
Fresh Seafood Delights: Sur Beach House takes pride in its seafood offerings, and I couldn’t resist indulging in a seafood feast. From ceviche to grilled catch of the day, every dish was a symphony of flavors that danced on my taste buds.
Dinner at Sunset Monalisa
As the sun dipped below the horizon, signaling the end of a perfect day, I made my way to the renowned Sunset Monalisa for a dining experience like no other.
Spectacular Sunset Views: True to its name, Sunset Monalisa is perched on a cliff, providing uninterrupted views of the sun setting over the Pacific. The hues of the sky painted a mesmerizing backdrop as we savored a gourmet 3 course dinner.
Culinary Excellence: The menu at Sunset Monalisa is a gastronomic journey through Mediterranean-inspired dishes. Each course was a masterpiece, and the attentive staff ensured that every moment was a celebration of fine dining. For starters, we picked the burrata salad and fresh Baja oysters which were fresh and delicious. Then for the entrée we opted for truffle pasta and wagyu beef ravioli. Before dessert, we had a palate cleanser of a kiwi popsicle which was a nice treat. We finished with dessert having the tableside tiramisu and cookies and cream.
Cabo, with its perfect blend of relaxation and fun, proved to be the ultimate destination to welcome the new year.
