Mexico City is a vibrant and diverse capital city renowned for its rich culinary heritage. From mouthwatering street food to innovative fine dining experiences, the city offers a plethora of flavors that will tantalize your taste buds. In this blog post, we embark on a delectable food tour through three standout eateries: Bou, Blanco Castelar, and Cuerno. Join us as we discover the unique culinary creations that make Mexico City a foodie lover’s paradise.

Our food tour begins in the trendy neighborhood of Bou Roma Norte, known for its hipster vibe and innovative culinary scene. Bou is a hidden gem that seamlessly blends Mexican flavors with contemporary culinary techniques. As you step into the sleek and stylish restaurant, you are greeted by an inviting ambiance and the enticing aromas wafting from the open kitchen. Start with a delicious, iced coffee and delicious pastries or pan dulce. I got a cruffin and was a game changer delicious, flaky and filled with perfect amount of filling. Next I opted for traditional chilaquiles which were crunchy and flavorful.

Next, we checked out Blanco Castelar located in the upscale Polanco neighborhood, which is a culinary destination that celebrates the flavors of traditional Mexican cuisine with a modern twist. The restaurant’s elegant and contemporary décor sets the stage for a memorable dining experience.

Start your culinary journey with an order of tacos de lechon, the bold flavor will leave you wanting more. For a main course, the steak and frites were cooked to perfection and paired with a delicious wine sauce.

Our final stop takes us to the upscale neighborhood of Masaryk, renowned for its high-end shopping and dining experiences. Cuerno is a trendy restaurant with lively music and inviting atmosphere, this restaurant had the best steaks and cocktails in Mexico City. You must end your meal with the pastel de Campechana, it was the best dessert we had all weekend.
